So the title of this blog pretty much says it all... I have this group on Facebook that’s called “Let’s Promote Our Local Bands” and basically it’s just a bunch of us promoting groups from around the world (my bad on the “local” part and making it sound like it was just open to Montréal groups) whom we think have excellent potential or that we feel that others would enjoy (from that specific genre). Lately I’ve been sending out monthly concert dates with more general groups and of local groups (who inform me, that is). It’s pretty nifty because I’d like to think that from reading the entire list of shows happening in the upcoming month, someone in that group is going, “Snap! *Insert band name here* is coming next month?! Sweet! I’m gonna tell *put someone’s name here*!! They’ll be so stoked!”... Or something of that kind :)
